Greetings! I'm Michael Reynolds, artistic director of the Montana Chamber Music Society (MCMS). Our mission is to present chamber music concerts throughout Montana – great chamber music under the Big Sky! .
We present our fifth season in 2013-2014 with concerts in October 2013 and January 2014. During this season, the Muir Quartet will explore some of the great Haydn quartets and showcase some of the great works from Vienna including quartets by Schubert, Berg, Brahms and other masters.
In March 2014, pianist Philip Aaberg, MSU’s own internationally touring violinist Angella Ahn, Muir Quartet violinist Peter Zazofsky and I will perform various works from the duo, trio, and piano Quartet literature including works by Prokofiev, Mendelssohn and the great Brahms G minor Piano Quartet.
Check out our Concerts tab for these events and other educational and concert offerings this season. Your membership with MCMS (see Support tab) allows you to enjoy these concerts along with special member benefits, or you can join us as a subscriber. Net proceeds from your participation will support our mission to present great chamber music performance in Montana throughout the year.
